Mostly I am at work, at home, in my car, in school, with friends. I like to read at the park—if I actually hiked around the park, cheap cardy ugg boots Stormburst would work better than Classics. The grocery store is another ritual.Twice a year I find myself schlepping through an airport or two to visit family—hence my attachment to ugg classic cardy; the zipper makes removing them to get through security that much easier.
Personally, I only wear ugg cardy boots with a dress if I have leggings in a color flattering to the shoe, which keeps the eye moving over your silhouette instead of dividing your leg into three portions.
And if you’re still worried that some night,at the local convenience store, you will run into the very wealthy, very single Prince of Casablanca, known for his vegan-ethics and love of barely-there footwear.
Many of the celebrities seem to be wearing the cheap ugg boots classic cardy these days which will certainly contribute to its popularity, but the truth is the world seems to have taken this hip footwear into their fashion wardrobe even before the stars began to adorn their feet with the many trendy styles available.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP)—The New Jersey Nets fired coach Lawrence Frank on Sunday after losing their first 16 games during one of the worst starts in NBA history.
Assistant Tom Barrise will coach the team Sunday night in Los Angeles against the Lakers, when the Nets could tie the record for the worst start if they lose.
The Nets said a permanent replacement for Frank hasn’t been determined.
Frank was in his sixth full season, the longest-tenured coach in the Eastern Conference and the winningest coach in the Nets’ NBA history. But none of those victories came this season, and the team dismissed him with a 225-241 record.
“Lawrence always approached every day with a passion for his craft that was infectious, and his dedication to the game as well as his work ethic are to be both admired and appreciated,” Nets president Rod Thorn said in a statement. “I wish he and his family only the best of good fortune in the future.”
Frank, from nearby Teaneck, N.J., began his career with a 13-game winning streak, the best coaching start in league history. But he couldn’t overcome a losing streak that was even longer, just a game shy of the 17-game skids set by the 1988-89 Miami Heat and the 1999 Los Angeles Clippers.
Plagued by injuries this season, the Nets faced some games where they were missing four starters and suited up the minimum eight players. Still, they played hard and stayed close for most of those games, figuring the wins would come when they started getting some bodies back.
“That’s probably as little talent as I’ve seen anybody put on the floor in the long time with everybody hurt,” Orlando coach Stan Van Gundy said. “Yet they were able to fight and stay competitive. The guy’s done a great job there.”
Despite the losses, Frank was expected to last through the four-game trip out West that ends Sunday, with management wanting to give him time with a regular roster. But they decided it was time for a change after the Nets fell far behind in losses at Denver and Sacramento.
After 3 1/2 seasons as a Nets assistant, Frank replaced the fired Byron Scott on Jan. 26, 2004.
He quickly turned around a struggling team with his record-setting start, winning Eastern Conference coach of the month honors in February after leading the Nets to an 11-2 record, a franchise-record .846 winning percentage.
The Nets made the playoffs in each of Frank’s first four seasons, advancing to the second round in three of them, before returning to their longtime losing ways while slashing payroll in recent years.
Jason Kidd(notes) was traded in February 2008, fellow veterans Richard Jefferson(notes) and Vince Carter(notes) were gone by last summer’s draft, and only the Kidd deal that landed All-Star point guard Devin Harris(notes) brought back much in return.
So after losing in the East semifinals in 2006 and ’07, the Nets stumbled to 34-48 finishes the last two seasons.
Plagued by poor attendance and heavy financial losses while playing at the Meadowlands, the Nets have been looking ahead to a move to Brooklyn. While management could make decisions with that in mind, Frank ultimately paid the price for what was happening in the present.
The deals helped the Nets’ financial future, leaving them with the most salary cap space available for the stellar free agent class expected next summer. But it left the team devoid of talented depth when New Jersey was plagued by injuries early this season.
“I just know that with the lineups he’s had to put on the floor, I don’t think any coach would have done anything better than he’s done. There seriously can’t be people out there who think they were losing because of coaching,” Van Gundy said before playing at New York.
“New Jersey’s front office obviously thought they should have been winning games. Why they would have that expectation, I have absolutely no idea.”
Even if the Nets played well, Frank might not have made it past this season.
Owners will vote by the end of next month whether to approve the sale of the team to Russian Mikhail Prokhorov. If the sale goes through, as expected, Prokhorov could decide to bring in his own coaching staff.
Frank is the second NBA coach fired this season, following his predecessor in New Jersey, Scott, who lost his job in New Orleans.

California tax collectors have added 28 names to their most-wanted list of people and businesses who officials say have not paid their state taxes.
The top three tax delinquents added Wednesday are from the Bay Area, according to the State Board of Equalization. They are the Mastermind Group, Inc., doing business as Bay Area Auto Brokers, Inc., in Richmond and owing $1.2 million; Mikial Singh Nijjar of San Francisco, owing $1.2 million; and Marty James Orosco of Sunnyvale, also owing $1.2 million. None of the three could be reached for comment.
Since January 2007, a state law has mandated the Board of Equalization to post the list of the largest 250 tax delinquents but only after giving a 30-day notice to the businesses and individuals that their names will be made public.
The current list of 250 individuals and businesses owe a combined $288 million to the state.
Since the law was passed, the Board of Equalization has collected $3.4 million from 23 individuals and businesses who paid or began payment plans after their names were posted, according to the agency.
Anita Gore, spokeswoman for the Board of Equalization, said only about 3 or 4 percent of those owing sales and use taxes to the state do not pay and often that is because businesses that are suffering will pay their rent and their workers first.
“Sometime paying taxes falls to the bottom of their priority list – not because they don’t want to, but because they are unable,” she said.
Many on the list have years-old liabilities, she said.
The state Franchise Tax Board publishes a similar list of people who owe income taxes. That list includes well-known people like the actor Sinbad and singer Dionne Warwick and is updated annually.
Any of those listed by the Board of Equalization who own property have liens placed on them, Gore said, and the board could take the extreme measure of sending state workers into stores and collecting money as it comes into the cash register.
She said having the list is a motivator.
“A lot of people get the letter and react so their name doesn’t get on the list,” she said.

CINCINNATI (AP)—Even if Cedric Benson(notes) is able to play Sunday against Cleveland, he’s going to have a lot of company in the Cincinnati Bengals’s running game.
Benson returned to practice Wednesday, going through a limited workout because of his sprained hip muscles. The injury kept him out of a 20-17 loss at Oakland.
Coach Marvin Lewis said Wednesday that Benson is “very close” and might be able to play against the Browns, a team he ran over last year. Benson had a career-high 38 carries for 171 yards in a 14-0 win in Cleveland last December in a zero wind chill.
Rookie backup Bernard Scott(notes) is expected to get a lot of carries against Cleveland, even if Benson is able to play. Larry Johnson(notes) also could see more time on the field in his second game since he signed with Cincinnati.
Scott, a sixth-round draft pick from Abilene Christian, has emerged in the last two games. He returned a kickoff 96 yards for the only touchdown during an 18-12 win in Pittsburgh. He also kept the running game going after Benson hurt his hip during the game, carrying 13 times for 33 yards.
In Oakland, he ran 21 times for 119 yards. The 21 carries were only eight shy of his total for the first nine games.
“Bernard has earned an opportunity to continue to play,” Lewis said. “He’ll have a chance, and he’ll get some opportunities one way or the other. If Ced is back and playing, Bernard will still play a considerable amount this week.”
The Bengals (7-3) lead the AFC North by a game over Pittsburgh and will be trying to run the table in division games when they play Cleveland. Cincinnati is 5-0, with series sweeps of the Steelers and Ravens. They won an overtime game in Cleveland on Oct. 4.
A renewed commitment to the running game has been a big part of it. The Bengals have been using an extra offensive lineman in the tight end’s spot to block, or put a tight end in the backfield as an extra blocker. Instead of looking to have Carson Palmer(notes) throw the ball, the Bengals have been more dependent upon having him hand off.
The Browns (1-9) have committed to stopping Chad Ochocinco(notes) and the rest of the Bengals’ receivers in the past.
“This is one of the few weeks I’m begging for us to run the ball,” Ochocinco said Wednesday. “Once we get to the postseason—we will be there— the key is to run the ball. That’s why I’m all for it right now.”
Scott has quickly become an important part of the offense.
“From day one, I felt I was here for a reason,” Scott said. “The more you’re out there making plays, the more it helps your confidence.”
Scott wasn’t used to carrying so many times in a game and got cramps in the fourth quarter in Oakland. He’s going to work at keeping his body hydrated this week to be ready for Cleveland.
“I haven’t been playing and all of a sudden, I’m playing,” he said. “I hadn’t played in a game since college, really. I think the more I play, the better my conditioning will get. Hopefully I won’t have those problems anymore.”
Lewis is confident that Scott will handle the next game better, pointing out that rookies often struggle to get through their first game.
“It kind of blows the pipes out a little bit,” Lewis said. “But once you get through it, you’re good. That’s kind of a one-time situation, and then you’re generally good to go. That happens to a lot of guys to start the year.”

Chad Knaus believes he and Jimmie Johnson can continue to add to their championship total for years to come.
But the crew chief first needs a new contract.
Knaus on Wednesday denied an ESPN report that he’s agreed to lead Johnson through 2015, the length of Johnson’s new contract extension with Hendrick Motorsports.
Knaus, who has guided Johnson to four straight titles and 47 victories since 2002, is still working under an extension signed in 2006 that runs through next season.
“We’ve only started very light conversations,” Knaus said. “I don’t have a new contract, and we’ve barely had enough conversation for me to agree to anything.”
Although Knaus said it is his intention to stay with Hendrick Motorsports, “you never know what will happen. There are so many what-ifs.”
Knaus began his NASCAR career with Hendrick in 1993 as an original member of Jeff Gordon’s “Rainbow Warriors” crew. He began as an assistant in the body shop, worked his way into the fabrication department and eventually was put in charge of the body development for Gordon’s car. He was also a tire changer on Gordon’s 1995 and 1997 teams.
Knaus left Hendrick after the 1997 season to try to advance his career, working at Dale Earnhardt Inc. as the car chief for Steve Park, then for Ray Evernham when he left Hendrick to start his own race team. He then spent one season as crew chief for Stacy Compton at Melling Racing.
Knaus returned to Hendrick in 2002 when car owner Rick Hendrick formed Johnson’s new team.
The duo charged out of the gates and has contended for the championship every year. Their record-setting string of four consecutive championships began in 2006, and there’s no reason to believe they will let up anytime soon.
Hendrick said Tuesday that he’s working on an extension with Knaus, but “it’s kind of a foregone conclusion between us that he’s going to be here.
“We’ve got to get the paperwork done, but we still have a year and a half left,” Hendrick said. “So it’s something we’re doing. We try to get all our guys in place well ahead of when the contracts are up. So that’s under way. I plan for him to retire here. I think that’s what he tells me he wants to do.”
Knaus joked after Sunday’s title-clinching race that he’s not sure what he’ll do if he’s not a crew chief, throwing out a possible stint on “Dancing with the Stars” or opening a scuba shop in the Caribbean.
“I don’t know, man. I don’t know what I’m going to do when I grow up,” he said. “I hope I never have to grow up. I love my job. But I can’t be a crew chief forever. I’ll be honest, I can’t run at this pace for ten more years. It’s impossible. But I love what I do. I engulf myself in what it is that I do, and there’s nothing I’d rather do.
“I have yet to get out of bed in the morning and not want to go to work, and that’s a fact. In the future, we’re just going to have to wait and see.”

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama’s eight-day trip to Asia produced no tangible wins for the United States, though he is citing talks with Asian allies that he says could help create thousands of job and open new markets for American goods in the future.
Citing progress on a trip that took him from Tokyo to Seoul, Obama noted that “Asia is a region where we now buy more goods and do more trade with than any other place in the world — commerce that supports millions of jobs back home.”
“I spoke with leaders in every nation I visited about what we can do to sustain this economic recovery and bring back jobs and prosperity for our people — a task I will continue to focus on relentlessly in the weeks and months ahead,” Obama said in his weekly radio and Internet address taped while he was in Seoul, the South Korean capital, and released Saturday.
The president pitched his trip as a way to reintroduce the U.S. to those trading partners, including China.
The Chinese government is the United States’ biggest foreign creditor with $800 billion of federal U.S. debt, which gives it extraordinary power in the relationship. And Beijing feels the global recession, sparked by U.S. financial industry excesses, vindicates its authoritarian leadership.
Obama told Americans that there can be no solutions to climate change or energy without the cooperation of Asian and Pacific nations. Repeating a theme he used abroad, Obama told the U.S. audience that the discussions directly affect U.S. national security.
“We made progress with China and Russia in sending a unified message to Iran and North Korea that they must live up to their international obligations and either forsake nuclear weapons or face the consequences,” he said.
Obama’s trip included a town hall-style event with students in Shanghai and discussion about a coming climate summit in Copenhagen. He also prodded China to loosen restrictions on Internet access and increase freedoms of speech and religion.
Obama repeatedly has said the United States does not wish to contain China’s rise. Instead, on Saturday, he said that if the United States can increase exports to the Asia-Pacific region by 5 percent, then the markets would create “hundreds of thousands” of jobs as a trading partner.
“Even though it will take time, I can promise you this,” Obama said. “We are moving in the right direction … the steps we are taking are helping and I will not let up until businesses start hiring again, unemployed Americans start working again, and we rebuild this economy stronger and more prosperous than it was before.”
